From Route 61 North
Take Route 61 North to Route 183
South. At traffic light make a right to follow the jug
handle onto Route 183 South. At next traffic light make a
right onto 901 West. Follow 901 West to next traffic
light. Make a left at traffic light, continue to the next
traffic light at King’s Village Shopping Plaza. Make right
turn at that light, go over railroad tracks, make left onto
first paved road and follow road to the top of the hill.
(You will pass the Schuylkill Career and Technology Center
on your right as you go up the hill).
From Route 61 South
Take 61 South into Pottsville. At
the second traffic light, make a right onto Norwegian
Street. At the next red light, (Keystone Financial straight
ahead of you before making the right), make a right onto
Center Street (Rt. 209S.). Go to the next red light and
make a left onto Market Street (Rt. 209S). Follow Market
street through Pottsville until you reach a large
intersection (Sheetz Gas Station on left, Hess Gas Station
on right), continue straight through this intersection. At
the next red light (King’s Village Shopping Plaza is on the
left), make a right turn, go over railroad tracks and turn
left onto the first paved road. Follow this road to the top
of the hill (You will pass the Schuylkill Career and
Technology Center on your right as you go up the hill).
From
I-78 East
Follow I-78 East to I-81 North.
Follow I-81 North to Exit 116
(Minersville), and follow Rt. 901 east into Minersville.
Turn right onto the Pottsville Maroons Highway (Fuel On
store on
right). Turn left at the next traffic light (Maple Ave.).
Continue across small bridge and railroad tracks make a
left onto the first macadam road and go to the top of the
hill. Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29, entrance in on far left of
building.
From I-78 West
Follow I-78 West to Rt. 61 North.
Follow Rt. 61 North through Schuylkill Haven. As you
pass the Penn State Schuylkill Campus (on your right)
begin looking for signs for Route 183 South. You want to
turn off onto the jug handle for Route 183 South and
follow Rt. 183 to the next traffic light (Hess's Gas
station/mini-mart on the corner). At traffic light make
a right onto Rt. 901 West. Continue on until the next
traffic light (Pizza Hut on corner) where you will make
a LEFT turn onto Rt. 901. At the next traffic light
(King’s Village Shopping entrance) make a RIGHT turn
which crosses you over a bridge and railroad. Turn LEFT
onto FIRST blacktop road and continue up to the top of
the hill.
