Interested in Driver Education Instruction?

The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit offers both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to high school students.

To enroll in the course students must:

Complete and sign the Registration Form.
Sign one copy of the Driver Education Guidelines.
Submit registration form, one signed copy of the Driver Education Guidelines, and payment to:

Online Driver Education Training:

In addition to In-Class and Behind-the-Wheel Driver Education Training, Online Driver Education Training is now offered to Schuylkill County high school students!

The Online Driver Education Theory Instruction course providing standardized driver training education for high school students is available online through an arrangement with the Edward Savioz Driver Training School and is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Students may register for the online driver education course by logging on to http://schuylkilliu.KeysToDriving.com.
   
 
  1. Log on to http://schuylkilliu.KeysToDriving.com.
  2. Click the Register! Link under Members at the top of the page.
  3. Click the drop down menu in the ‘Referred By’ box.
  4. Click to add www.Schuylkilliu.KeysToDriving.com in the box.
  5. Type the name of your high school in the ‘School’ box.

Please note: As you begin typing, the name of the high school should appear below the box and you can click on the name to add it to the box.  It is very important that you enter the correct school when you register.

   
Online instruction includes 30 hours of instruction and complies with current Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations.
   
Students completing the 30 hour course will receive a Certificate of Completion.
   
Students who register for the online instruction may access the course 24 hours a day.  Students may complete the course at a pace suitable to their schedules.
   
Tech support is available for students registered for the online course from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., seven days a week.
   
Upon completion of the course, students attending school districts that reimburse for successful completion must submit a copy of their receipt (either a paper copy or electronic copy) with a copy of the certificate of completion to:
