The Workplace Education classes provide FREE instruction in the
skills that provide an advantage to the job seeker in the modern
labor market.
Skills for Re-Employment
What is the employer looking for
in new employees? The following is a list of just a few skills
that modern employers are looking for in the new workforce:

Communicating with other workers, managers, and
customers.

Making numerical calculations accurately

Using computer technology.

Understanding maps, diagrams, etc.

Ability to interpret equipment manuals and employee
policy manuals.

Willingness and ability to learn for life.
After completing the seven-week
program, you will be equipped for the modern workplace, complete
a computer competency portfolio and receive a certificate of
completion.

No. The class is a FREE. This
program is available through a partnership between the REDCO
Group Workforce Investment Network and The Schuylkill
Intermediate Unit #29.
