UnitedStreaming
(http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com)
is a video download and streaming service that instantly
delivers over 50,000 educational core-curriculum digital
videos and over 15,000 clips. Search the
database, locate grade and subject specific content,
review alignment with PA
Academic Standards,
and view the videos right on your computer! Each
video has been indexed to provide the option of viewing
individual portions of the clip.
For maximum performance and reliability, we recommend downloading
the video file to
the computer C: drive before showing the video to the
class. Please do NOT save videos to school
district file servers!
To obtain a username and password to access the
service: 1) Educators should visit
http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com
2) In the New Users section of the home page, enter your
district's passcode and click on go. (Contact your
district Technology staff to obtain the code.)
3) Follow directions on the screen.
4) Account information should arrive within 48 hours. |
