Refund Schedule is based on QUARTERLY COSTS

A student who withdraws, takes a leave of absence, or is terminated from a program will be subject to the following refund policy after the first full class day:

The tuition refund shall be based on each term payment.

When determining refunds, the following fees will be considered NON-REFUNDABLE:

$20.00 Application Fee
$50.00 Enrollment Deposit Fees
• All Books, Uniforms, and Medical Fees

Student refunds may be subjected to Federal refund policies. Factors determining this are:

• the date of withdrawal
• hours of attendance
• student status
• last day of attendance

In the event of a return or overpayment, the return amounts will be repaid using the following sources, in order listed, up to the total net amount disbursed in each source.  Click to view refund calculations.

  1. Unsubsidized FFEL/Direct Stafford Loan
  2. Subsidized FFEL/Direct Stafford Loan
  3. Perkins Loan
  4. FFEL/Direct PLUS
  5. PELL Grant
  6. SEOG Aid
  7. Other Title IV Programs
  8. Other Federal, State, private, or institutional student financial assistance
  9. Student

*LEAVE OF ABSENCE POLICY (for students receiving Title IV Funding)

1.) There must be a written request for the leave-of-absence
2.) There must be an approval for the leave-of-absence from the Schuylkill Technology Center
3.) An approved leave-of-absence documentation must be in student’s file
4.) There will be no disbursements made during a leave-of-absence
5.) The leave-of-absence may not exceed 180 days in a 12 month period
6.) A student may be approved for multiple leave-of-absences
7.) A student must return to the program at the exact point of taking the leave-of-absence
8.) If the student does not return at the end of the leave-of-absence, financial aid must be calculated based on the date that the student last attended

Notification of termination, withdrawal and/or leave of absence from programs must be submitted in writing to the Admissions Office.
