Complete Your Associate Degree through a partnership
between the Schuylkill Technology Center and Lehigh
Carbon Community College
Students who successfully complete the Electrical
or Electromechanical certificate program at the
Schuylkill Technology Center may be eligible to
articulate up to 25 credits into one of the
following A.A.S. Completion Degrees with Lehigh
Carbon Community College.
Electrical Technology A.A.S.
Designed to prepare the student for employment as
an electrical/electronic technician. The program
provides students with knowledge and experience in
the areas of electrical wiring, blueprint reading,
analog and digital electronics, programmable
controllers, and industrial control systems.
Graduates are also qualified to become field
engineers, industrial maintenance technicians,
industrial equipment installers, and technical sales
representatives.
Nanofabrication
Manufacturing Technology A.A.S.
Prepares the student for occupations in the
nanofabrication/semiconductor manufacturing
industry. The student will complete the final
semester at the nanofabrication facility at Penn
State University. Industries involved with
nanofabrication include semiconductor manufacturing,
optoelectronics, biomedical applications, sensors,
flat panel displays, information storage,
micro-electromechanical devices, and microfluids.
The student will have in-depth knowledge of
nanofabrication industry practices and procedures.

These A.A.S. Completion Degrees are available in
Schuylkill County through a partnership between STC
and LCCC. Students who successfully complete the
corresponding certificate programs at Schuylkill
Technology Center are eligible to enroll in the
Associate Degree Programs with LCCC. |
