INTRODUCTION TO VISUAL BASIC ~ 90hr/6cr
Learn to create projects in Visual Basic by setting control properties; working with controls such as list boxes, shape controls, scroll bars and check boxes, and the introductory coding needed to develop such properties.

INTERMEDIATE VISUAL BASIC ~ 90hr/6cr
Students will be introduced to more advanced function of Visual Basic by using random and sequential files, searching and sorting functions. Modifying programs/macros in other applications will also be covered.

BLUE PRINT READING/INTRO TO CNC ~
90hr/3cr
Learn to read and develop blueprints from machine shop to meet NIMS (National Institute of Metal Working Skills) standards. Students will learn concepts and terms affiliated with the operations of CNC. They will understand X, Y, Z coordinates related to CNC, 2 axis programming, and language codes.

INTRO TO CAD ~ 90hr/3cr
Basic Auto CAD drawing skills, options, and editing.

MASTER CAM I ~ 90hr/3cr
Students will be introduced to constructed geometry and output to the CNC machines.

MASTER CAM II ~ 90hr/3cr
Finish geometry and programming for CNC machines.

INTRODUCTION TO C++ ~ 180hr/6cr
Learn the structure of the language, how to write and compile source code, how to declare variables and constants, and how to format output and input information from the keyboard. Emphasis is placed on documentation and structure.

INTERMEDIATE CNC ~ 180hr/6cr
Students will be introduced to the machining processes. They will have an understanding of the machine start up to include machine control. The students will also learn the machine setups and fixturing.

ADVANCED CNC ~ 180hr/6cr
Students will setup and run the CNC machines, load and edit programs, and use tool offsets, work zero graphics, and run graphics.
