Schuylkill Intermediate Unit school psychologists provide direct consultative and psychological/educational assessment services to School districts and non-Public Schools within Schuylkill County. In addition to serving students from Kindergarten through grade twelve, staff members provide services to the Early Intervention program.

In addition to providing direct consultative and psychological/educational assessment services to member school districts, the school psychologists and support staff coordinate evaluation and reevaluation activities, including psychiatric assessments. The psychologists also coordinate Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings when determining eligibility for special education and gifted support services. The psychological staff members also provide crisis intervention services to regular and special education students in the county and technical assistance to the school districts.
