In addition to providing
direct consultative and psychological/ed-ucational
assessment services to member school districts, the school
psychologists and support staff coordinate evaluation and
reevaluation activities, including psychiatric assessments.
The psychologists serve as the de facto chairs for
Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings when determining
eligibility for special education and gifted support
services. The psychological staff members also provide
crisis intervention services to regular and special
education students in the county and technical assistance to
the school districts.
