Consultants from the Intermediate Unit are qualified to provide assistance in order to support students diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Training, technical assistance and resources can be provided to assist building level teams design an effective educational program for students with ASD. These services may include support in the areas of assessment, curriculum and effective instruction and will be based on evidence-based strategies already established for students with ASD.
