    The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit serves as the administrative agency for the Department of Education to provide remedial educational services in mathematics and reading in the non-public and private elementary schools. In addition, speech and language, hearing impaired and psychological services are available to each of the non-public and private schools in Schuylkill County.
