The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit school psychologist provides direct consultative and educational assessment services to school district students attending the Maple Avenue Campus. In addition to serving Kindergarten through grade twelve students, staff members offer services to the Early Intervention program.
In addition to providing direct consultative and psychological/educational assessment services to member school districts, the school psychologist and support staff coordinate evaluation and reevaluation activities. The psychologist coordinates multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for special education and gifted support services. The psychological staff member collaborates with school social workers to provide crisis intervention services to the county's regular and special education students and technical assistance to the school districts.
24-25 County-Wide School Psychologist Meeting DatesAll meetings will be from 9 AM - 12 PM. They will occur in the HUB inside Schuylkill IU29 or via Zoom.
