Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29

The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit offers one of the most extensive ranges of alternate education options in Pennsylvania. The Intermediate Unit, together with the twelve member school districts and Schuylkill County social service agencies, have partnered to provide programs that help the young people we serve. These programs are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and the Bureau of Human Services Licensing. Our goal as always been to help these students deal with the challenges in their lives, and make education a successful experience by offering comprehensive services that address the student's academic and personal needs through alternate education and treatment.
