Maple Avenue Campus

The Maple Avenue Campus, operated by Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29, provides specialized educational programs and services for students from school districts across Schuylkill County. The campus supports learners from kindergarten through age 22 who require individualized instruction, behavioral support, or therapeutic services beyond what may be available in their home schools.
Programs at the Maple Avenue Campus are designed to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of each student through small class sizes, evidence-based instruction, and a highly trained multidisciplinary staff. Students receive individualized educational programming while also developing life skills, communication abilities, and positive behavioral strategies that promote success in school and the community.
The campus is also home to the Schuylkill Learning Academy, a therapeutic and alternative education program designed for students who benefit from a structured environment that integrates academics with behavioral health supports. Through individualized instruction, counseling services, and coordinated support with families and school districts, the Schuylkill Learning Academy helps students build the skills needed to successfully transition back to their home school or move forward toward graduation and post-secondary opportunities.
The Maple Avenue Campus provides a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential and build the skills needed for greater independence and future success.
