The purpose of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to provide school districts with support and services for students exhibiting behaviors in the educational setting. The BCBA's role is to observe and assess students with behavioral concerns, study changes the environment has in behavior, and/or implement behavior plans. Such support may include, but is not limited to:
- Classroom Management
- Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Collecting Data
- Developing Data
- Developing/Writing Behavioral Intervention Plans
- Implementing Plans and Making Necessary Modifications and Revisions
- Professional Development
